The project

New homes and commercial space in Crosby Village.

Moorside Place is a modern, net-zero carbon residential and commercial development off Moor Lane in the heart of Crosby Village. The scheme was delivered by The Sovini Group, through One Vision Housing and Sovini Construction, in partnership with architect Studio RBA.

Homes and layouts

The development comprises 72 one- and two-bedroom apartments: 47 one-bedroom and 25 two-bedroom homes. Seventeen distinct layouts provide accommodation ranging from 47.2 m² to 77.1 m².

Commercial space

Four ground-floor commercial and retail units provide approximately 10,500 sq ft of space available for local businesses and NHS use.

Rent to Buy

The apartments are offered through One Vision Housing on a Rent to Buy model, helping residents save for a deposit and move towards shared ownership or outright purchase.

Sustainability and specification

The development uses a fabric-first approach, adhering to the Future Buildings Standard 2021, with solar panels, smart meters and electric vehicle charging points.

Programme and project involvement

Ground was broken in July 2023 following demolition of a former three-storey commercial building on the brownfield site, with completion in July 2026.

Clerk of Works inspection services were provided for the development.
